halloween special - featuring our black dogs

Picture
Aargh, matey, gimme yer treats!
For the month of October, we are featuring our black dogs and then some!  Did you know about a phenomenon called Black Dog Syndrome?  Studies show that black dogs are less likely to get adopted and more likely to be euthanized at shelters.  Here at Rescue the Underdog, we have saved several black dogs in recent weeks, and we think it is too much of a coincidence that there has been a sudden influx of black dogs to our group.  This means they were passed over by other rescue groups, who will pick out more "attractive" and easily adoptable dogs.  Don't let prejudice and superstition keep you from finding your next best friend!
