Braxton- aDOPTED

Braxton is originally from LA.  He was adopted by a family here in Vallejo, as they thought he was their long lost dog.  They drove all the way to LA to get him, realized he wasn't their dog, but still adopted him.  They fell in love with him because he is very sweet and friendly.  Unfortunately they had to give him up due to a change in their circumstances.  They can no longer provide the care Braxton needs, want what's best for him, so they reached out to Rescue the Underdog.

Braxton is a 9 year old, 6 lb chihuahua.  He is a love bug who likes to be on your lap or hanging out on the couch. 

Some fun facts about Braxton:

• House trained, uses a doggie door
• Gets along with his 4 foster siblings
• Sleeps through the night in his doggie bed
• Licks your face if he needs something like water or to go out.  
• Learning to eat dog food but has been used to a diet of chicken and rice from his previous family
• Likes to go on leisurely walks wearing his harness 
• No rushing this boy; he enjoys smelling the flowers and a slow pace.
• Has not yet shown an interest in doggie toys, but might do so once his personality comes out more
