Zeroing in on fur-ever love is Zara! Once she settled into her foster home, she left all nervousness behind and revealed her true inner sweetness. Now she LOVES cuddling with her foster mom and having her belly rubbed – as much and as often as possible. She also loves sleeping, sweetly and soundly, in her doggy bed when it’s placed on her foster mom’s bed at night. Not yet used to the concept of toys and wary of large dogs, she prefers the company of ones her own size and especially enjoys her foster mom’s home-baked soft dog cookies, taking them ever so gently. She knows “turn it off” (when she barks), ”go potty” and “let’s go out”, is almost fully house trained to a doggy door but her crate and leash training skills are unknown. With much still to learn and much love to give, Zara will thrive in a nurturing home (only calm, older children, paw-lease) with patient adopters to build up her confidence, complete her education and keep her in belly rubs fur-ever.
