Meet Yuri! He is a 2 year old, 20lb Chi-mix looking for a loving home. Yuri is a total cuddle-bug, and will follow you around the house wherever you go. If you’re spending time on the couch, he’s sure to be there right beside you. He loves to be petted and scratched everywhere (especially his ears and cheeks), and is known to roll over for the occasional belly rub. He likes small enclosed spaces, so you may find him napping under the bed or behind a couch cushion if you leave him alone. Yuri is really good with food, and will munch on a bowl slowly over the the course of the day. Also, outside of playtime, Yuri rarely barks. When Yuri first arrived at his foster home, he had a few accidents. But since then, he’s been doing a great job at house training. It may take a few days for him to get used to his new home, so please be patient! Sadly, Yuri is quite scared of unknown noises outside, and is quite wary of new people. However, despite his fears, Yuri’s still loves being taken out. He’s always excited to put on his harness. But if something outside scares him, all he’ll want is to run back inside to safety. Over time, Yuri has been gaining confidence outside, and sometimes he will growl a bit at other people and dogs. He has let strangers pet him outside, though, after a few minutes of adjustment. Yuri is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please fill out an application and a volunteer will be in touch soon. |
