Initially shy in new surroundings, once Yolanda feels safe, she reveals her true inner sweetness and affectionate nature, never getting enough of the belly rubs she adores.
Putting the “c” into cuddly, she loves cuddling with her foster mom on the couch during the day and curling up against her – much like a doggy heating pad – to keep her warm under the covers in bed at night.
She also loves being with other friendly dogs and going for long walks, playing with her various squeaky toys and basking outside in the sun. Fond of car rides and even fonder of food (she especially enjoys being hand fed), she’s better than a doorbell …always letting her foster family know when someone’s at the door before they knock. Woof!
Eager to please and to learn, she knows the words “walk”, “car ride”, and “night-night”, is leash, crate and house trained, and does best with older children as soon as she warms up to them.
Now all this sweetheart needs is a loving home with gentle, older children and attentive adopters who will give her ample time to adjust in return for her own enduring loyalty and love.
Yolanda is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Yolanda, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
