Yanni
|
Yanni yearns for affection, especially from his foster mom, as he gradually grows more secure, simply knowing he’s safe, rewarding her attention with kisses and tail wags. Sweet and submissive, quiet and calm, he’s a mellow little mister who gives new meaning to the word “chill.” And yet, as much as he loves burrowing under sweatshirts, jackets and covers, and sunbathing in the backyard, he also loves going for walks and on hikes, and accompanying his foster mom to outdoor dining places, curling up cozily under the table while she eats. Seemingly disinterested in toys and balls (he prefers human companionship to anything else), he gets along quite well with other easygoing dogs, especially enjoys wet food and dog treats, and is primarily motivated by positive affirmation. Fearful at first of men, he does best with calm, respectful children, sleeps up against his foster mom’s knees at night, is more accustomed to wearing a leash and harness (he no longer whimpers when his neck is touched), but he still suffers from separation anxiety and dislikes being crated. As dearest Yanni reveals more of his playful inner puppy, he’s destined to thrive in a tranquil home with gentle adopters who will patiently bolster his confidence, perfect his leash manners, teach him his commands, and ensure he feels safe and well loved fur-ever. Yanni is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Yanni, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly. |
