Shorty alert!! Shorty alert! Veto is a super sweet, young boy who is looking for a family to call his own. He is listed as a doxy mix on his shelter paperwork because he has that long Weiner dog body and short legs! He is funny and goofy, if we may add, he is quite beefy! What a hunk of love.
Veto is a pretty fun dog. He’s currently in a home with several chi mixes much smaller than he is and would you believe that he is actually intimidated by them?! At the same time he does enjoy meeting other dogs and he he gets along with everyone he meets. And Veto is friendly with strangers upon first meeting them. He just wants to be loved and belong to someone. He walks well on a leash although he can get a little overwhelmed with a lot of activity around him. He’s having to learn to adjust to being in an urban area. We see hints of a playful side to him that will likely show more as he adjusts to his foster home.
Veto is a gentle soul who will make a great pet. He will need someone who will be there for him as he learns more about the new world he is living in. But be warned: you will quickly fall in love with this guy.
