Once Vilner settled into his foster home, his shyness gave way to sweetness. Softly submissive and tenderhearted by nature, he thrives on the company of his fosters, sitting next to them, cuddling with them on the couch, and leaning into them for more of the affection he loves.

He also loves stuffed toys, often stealing and hiding them, chew bones and games of fetch, and romping around with the resident dog, faithfully following her lead and learning by example. Walking very well on leash, he especially enjoys going for walks and taking rides in the car, gazing curiously out the window at the view.

Fond of any and all treats, he’s very gentle when accepting them, and while “treat” seems to be the one word he currently understands, he’ll stop any unwanted behavior when told. Crate trained (it’s his safe space and he sleeps inside it at night) and fully house trained, eager to please and to learn, all vibrant Vilner needs now is a nurturing home, preferably with another canine companion, to continue boosting his confidence, teach him his commands, and ensure he’s both active and adored fur-ever.
