Verona |
Verona: Sweet, agile, and playful.
She is very sweet and gets along with pretty much everybody. Adults, both men and women, elders, and kids, although not toddler tested yet. She suffers from separation anxiety but she is working on improving that (update to follow). She shows no signs of aggression and does well when she meets other fellow doggies on the park. She chases the cat but just because she wants to play with her. She will chase squirrels and birds if not on leash. She is very curious and lively. She has tons of energy. She is the reason her foster mom started jogging – mellow pace though. She would be a great company for someone who likes to run every morning or enjoys long walks or hikes. She is agile, playful, and likes to jump everywhere; she would make a great candidate for agility training. Yet at home, she is quiet and not destructive. She likes to sit on your lap and give you kisses. She likes to be carried all day, but her foster mom is teaching her to stay on the ground. She does not like the crate but she sleeps in her doggie bed in the living room, and of course, she would love it if you spoil her and let her sleep in bed with you. Verona would be a great complement for an active single as well as for a family with children. She had a few accidents during her first week at her foster home, but she is continuously working on her potty training and can hold it for long hours. She does not shed much and does not bark, which makes her also ideal for someone living in an apartment complex. Verona is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
