Meet Uri! He is a sweet, happy, cuddly dog. Our best guess is that he is a basenji / shiba inu / chihuahua mix. He's about 15 pounds.
Although he may be a little nervous initially (like most rescue dogs), he warms up quickly, and will be sitting in your lap in no time. Once he's comfortable, Uri loves his people and will greet them by the front door with a big smile on his face, jumping up on his back legs doing his happy dance. He loves to cuddle up on the couch, snuggle in bed, roll over for belly rubs, and play fetch with his squeaky toys. Overall, he has a very gentle nature. He does have a playful side too - he's just an all around great dog. Uri likes other dogs and is comfortable around cats. Uri is very food motivated and LOVES treats. He knows how to sit, and his foster mom is working on “shake” with him. He would love to show you all his tricks and looks forward to continuing his training in his forever home.
