The ultimate lap dog and purse pup, tender hearted Turtle thrives on his fosters’ copious snuggles and cuddles. Ever so sweet and especially social, he’s easygoing yet friendly, prefers loving to playing, and is famously fond of food, food and more food! While he doesn’t fetch balls or chase after toys, he likes taking rides in the car and gazing curiously out of the window. Ask him what his favorite pastime is and he’ll “answer” being picked up and carried around in a dog bag by his attentive foster mom. So well mannered, he never barks, he currently knows “stay” and “no”, gets along easily with the resident children, but not the cats, and isn’t interested in the other dogs he passes on the walks he enjoys. Leash, crate and house trained (he’s taken outside 4 to 5 times a day), all Turtle needs now is a loving fur-ever family with laps to lie on and dogs bags to fill. Turtle is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Turtle, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly. |
