Tomme is a 3 year old chi / corgi (or dachshund) mix, who weighs around 11 lbs. To meet Tomme is to love Tomme. He has all the best qualities you could want in a dog. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war with his toys. Then he loves to curl up in your lap while he chews the ears and tails off his brand new toys.
Tomme loves to go on walks and walks nicely on a leash - check out his video! He gets along with his three foster sisters, two chihuahuas and a shepherd/Rottweiler/pit mix. He is very food motivated and seems like he’d be easy to train. When he sees food or treats, he gets close but then just sits down and waits. He definitely knows “sit” and learned “down” in less than 5 minutes.
He seems to be potty-trained, because he does his business outside, although he does protest being woken up in the morning to go out. When he encountered a cat on his morning walk, he acted like he would love to give chase, but was easily corrected with a tug on the leash to keep walking. He’s happy to meet every human that comes over to the house. He’s not a barker. He patiently waits in his playpen for his foster mom to come home from work, just cuddling in a blanket and sleeping. He’s very happy when the humans are home because it means he can sit in a lap while he plays with his toys.
Tomme is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. Fill out an application to meet this sweet boy today!
