Stitch
|
The former stray may be missing his left hind paw, but don’t tell him that! His besotted fosters believe his middle name should be “Speedy” or “Flash” since he runs and jumps and climbs stairs like an Olympic athlete. Impressively intelligent, eager to please and easy to teach, he’s not only highly treat motivated, he happens to love training, focusing intently on his foster dad’s instructions and corrections. An enthusiastic walker, always up for adventure, he’s an equally effective lap warmer and consummate cuddler when it’s time to re-charge his batteries. While he gets along respectfully with his two senior doggy housemates, he’s leash reactive towards other dogs on his walks, and remains cautious and guarded around strangers, no doubt due to having spent time on the streets. With so much living and loving to share, Stitch should thrive in an equally loving home, perhaps with another small doggy playmate, and patient adopters to bolster his confidence, further his socialization and keep him mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever. Stitch is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Stitch, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly. |
