Hi, I'm Riley!
I'm a 3 year old whatchamacallit (you might say I look like a 30 pound shepherd) looking for my furever home! I'm neutered, up to date on shots, and microchipped.
I like having dog friends but could be the only dog if you currently don't have one—but let me tell you, you NEED one! (((ME))) Plus, dogs are like potato chips, why would you have just one!?
I enjoy walks and learning new things, even more fun when the two are together! I love to cuddle and play with toys. And I'm crate and house trained so you don't have to worry about potty accidents or me crying when you leave. I have all the cuteness and trainability of a puppy in a small adult body to boot!
I'm a little shy at first and can get overwhelmed if new humans bombard me with attention right away so it's best if you let me get to know your smell without trying to touch me for the first few moments of getting to know each other. It's just that humans haven't tried speaking my language until recently and they only listened when I got loud and snappy. I tried to tell them with avoidance but they just tried harder. I met a trainer and she promised that she'd make sure no one would push those boundaries anymore. I've learned that I can go back to avoidance instead of snapping. We can keep this going in your home!
Once I can trust that you can speak dog a little bit, I open right up and want ALL the love!
Want to get to know me? Just fill out an app and put my name on it! A volunteer will get in touch shortly!
