Ollie is a 9 month old puppy who weighs only 6 pounds. He came to us after a shelter volunteer watched in horror as he was thrown from a truck by his owners who then drove away leaving him to chase after them. Ollie was dumped by the side of the road and left to fend for himself at only 9 months old. When we got him, he was skeletal. His ribs protruded through his skin. Ollie clearly had not been provided adequate food. Ollie starts off a little shy but that doesn’t last very long. Ollie loves his person and is a sweet, gentle little guy. He has long legs and almost looks like a miniature greyhound. Ollie gets along with other dogs but is still learning the rules of dog social skills. Boundaries with other dogs can be an issue and he can sometimes irritate his dog buddy with being too chummy. In other words, he’s a typical puppy! He is able to walk on a leash somewhat but it seems to be new to him. Ollie wants only one thing from you: to be loved. We want to find someone who will keep and love him forever and never consider throwing him away. All he needs now is you! Ollie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
