Still settling into her foster home after being saved from a shelter, brindle beauty Marla reveals more of her special sweetness with each passing day. Endearingly quiet and shy, she makes for the most tolerant and easygoing of companions, and when her foster mom showers her with the scratches she craves, she melts into a puddle of pure doggy bliss. Calm in the company of visitors, content to spend much of her time on her bed in the corner, she comes to life when it’s time for a walk, walking wonderfully on her harness and leash. Not especially interested in toys or engaging in play with her doggy foster sister, she’s highly food motivated, loves bones, accepts treats very gently, and is both crate and house trained. With so much of her true personality still waiting to emerge, what this mellow miss needs most is a tranquil home with someone there much of the time to cherish her company and share in the ultimate joy of her realized potential.
