Malcom is classic Min Pin in almost all descriptions of them. He is about 10 lbs, very energetic and playful. He enjoys following us around, helping with chores, vigorous walks, playing and praise. Malcom wants to be your right hand man while also protecting you. This does mean he also likes to be the boss and participate in the discipline of the other householders. He gets along with the other dog , who is a bit lazy and boring for Malcom. He is lightly food aggressive but with some monitoring will listen and not get into the other dogs food. If I get after the cats or my son Malcom wants to assist me. While it is a little amusing, the cats and my 11 year old do not appreciate the additional corrections from him. Malcom does like men and kids, but he should be around kids 10+ who have experience with dogs. Malcom is very sweet and really just wants to please you, he responds very well to a squirt bottle training, he would blossom with formal training. He does talk when playing and give warning growls when he doesn’t like something – he should be given a little time to get to know the difference. After Malcom get to know you, he does like to snuggle and give you kisses.
