Are you looking for an active and adorable fun loving buddy? Larry is your guy! You can often find Larry tossing his toys up into the air, begging you to play fetch with you or following you around with his happy smile. He makes his foster laugh all the time with his goofy antics.
Larry has a lot of energy and would love a family that keeps him active. He would do well as a running buddy or as a buddy to a playful dog already in your home. He is very smart and can learn tricks easily, he knows sit, stay and knows his name. He aims to please and responds really well to positive reinforcement.
Larry is mostly a happy go lucky guy, but sometimes he gets upset if he thinks you're trying to steal his toys (and to him, most things are toys). He needs to go to a home that is dedicated to his training and can help him learn what things are acceptable for him to play with and what things aren't. He will also guard food. Sometimes he snaps at you if you try to take something from him that he shouldn't have. Since Larry spent some time in a kennel, he is not keen on being caged in, either, and might growl or snap when being put in a confined space. His foster has been working hard to train him, and he has shown marked improvement, but we can not guarantee that this behavior will not show itself in his new home. Because of this he can not be in a home with children.
With some patience and training, Larry would be a great companion. He loves to make you laugh and his cute fluffy face is sure to brighten your day.
Larry is neutered, up to date with vaccines and is microchipped. To adopt Larry fill out an application and volunteer will be in touch.
