Lady is an adorable 10 year old Parson Russell Terrier and Basenji mix. She is sweet, loving, submissive and has a very cute face. She is extremely food motivated and will be by your side if you are anywhere near food. She takes a couple of days to warm up to you but once she knows who the provider of food is, she will be your best friend :) Lady has a mellow temperament and loves to relax. She is a slow walker and likes to stop and smell things as much as her heart desires. Walking might not be a priority for her but she needs it to lose the extra weight that she has gained over the years. She does not bark much and is good with children and other pets. She needs only a small space with a bed and she will sleep alone peacefully throughout the night. We call her little piggy because she loves food and makes these funny pig like noises while eating or sniffing :) Lady has a wobbly walk due to extra weight and sometimes loses her balance if not careful but she is very resilient and gets back on her feet quickly. Notes: 1. Vet thinks that she has a collapsed trachea which makes her cough once in a while but it is a manageable condition. Due to above condition, Lady needs to be walked with a body harness instead of a collar. 2. She has had accidents in the house and needs to work on her potty training. She is comfortable holding it in when she is confined to her kennel/playpen. Lady is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
