Patience, tenderness and time are key to earning Kylo’s trust and winning his heart.
Cautious in new situations, having clearly been abused in the past, once this shy but sweet pup was comfortable with his foster mom, he grew to love being held, brushed and petted, particularly on the head. Now he barks happily when he hears her coming home and wags his tail in welcome!
He also loves running around the yard, chew toys and peanut butter, understands “let’s go home” and “let’s go potty”, and is almost fully housetrained (he’s taken out five minutes after dinner). Sadly, he gets sick on car rides and still needs to learn how to walk properly on a leash.
And so, what Kylo needs is a home, preferably with a securely fenced yard, and extremely patient adopters to earn his trust, complete his training, including his commands, and assure him that he’ll be safe and showered with love fur-ever.
Kylo is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Kylo, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
