Meet Kit! He is a Jack Russell, corgi mix, about 8-9 lbs. Kit will need a special foster or adopter who will be patient with him as he adjusts to life as a pet. He is under-socialized and will need time to warm up to people in his new home. In spite of this he shows a lot of potential. He is a total cutie, very endearing, and will do things like sneak up on the bed with you when he thinks you've fallen asleep. He is still getting used to being touched by people, but he is slowly coming around. He will even lick your face if you don't try to touch him.
Kit loves to play with other dogs. Ideally he would be in a home with one or two other dogs who like to play and whose example he can follow. In his temporary foster home, he and Bee have become best buddies in less than 24 hours.
Kit will likely need work on normal doggie things like walking on a leash, riding in a car (he did well on his "freedom ride" post-rescue). He seems to be house-trained.
Kit is not yet neutered (to be scheduled with our vet). He is up to date on vaccinations and micro-chipped. If you’d like to meet him, please fill out a foster or adoption application and a volunteer will be in touch.
