INEZ
Inez was found as an extremely feral stray dog. When she first started living with her foster mom, she acted as if she had never been around humans before. She was very timid and would not go near anyone, not even to take treats. She did not let anyone pet her for the first 4 months at her foster house. However, from the beginning her foster family knew she was a feral extrovert as she had the personality to just be a fun dog. Even though she did not seek out human attention at first, she was constantly playing with toys and other dogs. She was so energetic and happy and would entertain herself for hours with a small squeaky toy. After 9 months at her foster house, she has blossomed into a wonderful pet. She now loves attention from humans including playing fetch, tug-o-war, and getting pets and belly rubs. Whenever someone comes to the door, she prances towards them and greets them happily. She is super fun and joyful and absolutely loves to play with her toys and wrestle with her dog friends. She enjoys hikes in the forest and walks on the beach. When her foster mom is working, she is very calm and easy going and likes to relax and take naps on the couch or on the deck outside. If you are looking for a friend for your current dog, Inez is the dog for you! The ideal home for her would be with at least one other dog who loves to play and can be her buddy. She will likely need some time to adjust to the new home and having another dog to follow will help build her confidence. She needs a family who can be very patient with her and allow her time to warm up to them, preferably with no small children because she is skittish and scares easily with loud noises or fast movements. She is such a sweet dog and deserves a loving home who will help build her trust in humans. Inez is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
