Gentle Grandma is generally happiest sitting on her foster mom’s lap, as much and as often as possible -- even when she sleeps (which is much of the time) during the day. So devoted is she to her foster mom that she’ll often follow her around or wait for her on “her” chair.
Sweet and calm, she usually comes when called and knows how to climb doggy steps to reach any chair or lap. Not fond of constant snuggling, stroking or petting or of being jostled by the other lap dogs, she’s also uncomfortable being combed and having her face cleaned.
While she doesn’t play with toys, she does enjoy walking round the backyard and feasting on soft treats (she has no teeth), and although she has the occasional seizure, she recovers quickly, is crate trained and uses pee pads to potty.
Now what this little lap lover needs is a tranquil home without children and the warmest of laps to welcome her home fur-ever.
Grandma is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Grandma, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
