Posing so prettily for her close-up, gentle and genial Gladys adores attention once she’s at ease in your presence. Then she’s all about loving, joyfully jumping into your lap and sweetly snuggling with you as much and as often as paws-ible. Having entered our care with two broken legs and operated on promptly, she may have slight “hop” now, but nothing stifles her spirit or slows her steps as she runs and plays and takes walks with her favorite companion – her equally energetic doggy foster friend! Percolating with puppy energy, she loves playing with rope toys and chew toys, bones and balls, and especially enjoys Benebones. She also loves car rides and running errands with her fosters and sleeping in their bed at night. Highly intelligent, eager to please and to learn, she accepts all treats gently, knows “come”, “sit”, “up” and “down”, is working on “stay” and is leash, crate (treats inside it keep her content) and house trained. Now, with her whole life to life and much love to share, gregarious Gladys will thrive in an active and loving home, preferably with another playful pup, to complete her commands and keep her mentally and physically satisfied fur-ever.
