Meet Elfie! This little poodle/bunny/baby ewok is up for adoption. Elfie came to us being very distrustful of humans, but still cute as a button. Since he has been in foster care he has learned to go potty outside but every now and again he has accidents, so he might still need a little work. Elfie is funny little grouchy boy. He likes to guard his chosen territory and his food, and can be a little vocal about reminding you of he has claimed to be "his". We think this is something that will be improved with some training and trust. He can be very sweet but likes to make sure you know that affection is only on his terms. For example, Elfie LOVES to sit in your lap but he can get grumbly if you pet him. Elfie also enjoys car rides, riding in a bike trailer and going for walks. He has been to restaurants (with outdoor seating) with his foster mom and he was happy to hang out while they dined. His cuteness gets him a lot of attention and is sure to make you very popular wherever you go with him. We are very impressed with the improvements he has made in foster care. He went from being a grumble monster every time he met someone new, to meeting strangers happily. We know that with some patience and a lot of love he can be his best self. Elfie is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Please fill out an application and a volunteer will be in touch soon. |
