EDGAR- SNUGGLE ALERT!!!
Edgar is a handsome, friendly dog. Edgar is bonded with Remi, his buddy and the two should ideally be adopted together. They are inseparable when they can be together and it appears that Edgar looks out for, and protects Remi. We want them to be adopted together because they have been through so much and we feel strongly that they should be able to be together permanently. Remi does not do well by himself with no other dogs around and Edgar makes sure he is never alone. Edgar is a SNUGGLER, he has mastered the art of cuddling so well that he can melt any heart and get his human to fall hopelessly in love with him. He is such a sweetheart and so affectionate. He's a lap dog that will happily snuggle with you in your bed if you let him. He takes a couple of hours to warm up and might first greet you with a tiny growl, after all he doesn't know you just yet. This "I don't know if we should be friends facade" only lasts for the first hour or so and then he will follow you around like a shadow and whine if he can't see you. He loves to be around other dogs, is very sweet to older and sick dogs. He can have a bit of separation anxiety initially but then he settles down. Edgar is house-trained and he LOVES going for walks and hikes. His motto- stay FIT and keep my humans FIT. He will bring his harness and leash to you when he wants to go out and will make those puppy eyes that will guilt you into taking him out. Edgar is part of the band of 15 dogs we found at a homeless encampment. He was the leader of the pack and he's been through hard times before. He likes human food more than dog food, he loves fruits and veggies and enjoys wet dog food. Edgar is ready for his forever home. You couldn't find a more loving little guy.
