Meet Darla! She was afraid and emaciated on arrival, but after giving her space for a few hours she crawled out of her crate and sat in my lap. She is a cuddle bug and prefers to be on your lap or right next to you, but also fine in her own bed. She has quickly learned leash walking (though poles are a problem). She is still very shy and nervous around other people and a bit less around other dog. Her intelligence shines once she’s comfortable and settled. She loves to explore and prance through nature - she is like a tiny black and white deer. She loves to chase birds and squirrels, and when she’s very happy she does circles. Darla is that all around amazing pup, adventure buddy, and friend. Darla is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.
