Curly is most cheerful and comfortable when he’s close to his foster mom, whether it’s cuddling with her, lying in her lap or sleeping in bed with her. Preferably all three!
Gaining confidence from her as he slowly works through his fear of men, he happily runs and plays with other dogs – often “challenging” larger ones in true small dog style – and gets along easily with the resident cats. A great fan of most treats, taking them gently, and motivated by food, he’s crate trained, somewhat leash trained and at work on his house training.
With much still to learn and much love to give, Curly now needs a home with a securely fenced yard and loving adopters who will patiently allay his fears, complete his training, including his commands, and keep him in cuddles fur-ever.
Curly is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. To meet or adopt Curly, fill out an application and a volunteer will contact you shortly.
