BRILLO
Brillo owes her name to her cute scratchy terrier mug. This 5 year old 20 pound girl escaped the shelter minutes away from being euthanized due to overcrowding. Poor thing was terrified... and none too happy to be there, but her personality blossomed really quickly under the loving care of her wonderful foster mom.
Brillo, while a little cautious with strangers at first, is full of fun! She absolutely loves to play fetch and is never happier than to go on walks around the neighborhood. She also likes to relax on the couch, share a few cuddles in bed or even in her crate. You can also expect a few doggie kisses here and there :-) Her absolute favorite though? Road trips! She’s always ready to go! Brillo knows sit and stay, takes treats gently and is fully potty trained as well. Such a good girl!! With all those wonderful qualities, we know that anyone adopting Brillo will be so lucky.
Her ideal home would be one where she can shine as the only dog since she can get a little snarky with some dogs and is not a fan of dog parks. A family with older, respectful kids is preferred. She can show mild signs of separation anxiety in the beginning as well so just with like any dog, whoever adopts this sweetie will need to show some patience and understanding. Brillo deserves only the best and will give you years of loyal companionship and unconditional love in return.
Brillo is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, and micro-chipped. Apply to adopt Brillo today and a volunteer will be in touch very shortly to schedule a meet and greet.
