Bert - ADOPTED

Bert is a handsome, young black lab mix.  He has a black outer coat and lovely copper undercoat.  He is about 11 months old and weighs 55 lbs.

This boy is a total lover!  All he wants is affection and attention.  He is getting used to the sights and sounds in his temporary foster home, but he is already adapting so well.  He is playful and silly, likes to steal socks and chase balls.  He loves toys! 

Bert is completely house trained.  He is also crate trained.  He walks well on a leash (learning to use a harness).  He knows "sit" and is working on other commands.  He eats daintily and takes treats with a soft mouth.  He loves to run at the dog park and is sociable with other dogs.  When bedtime approaches, Bert will settle down for some quiet family time with his humans.

Bert likes to chase cats that he encounters on walks, so he would likely not be suitable for a home with cats.

Bert is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.  Please fill out an application to meet this amazing boy!
