Clyde
Clyde is a little 1 yr old chi mix who weighs in at only around 5 pounds! He's puny!!
He was one of 50 dogs and 4 cats that were found living in an RV in the Central Valley. When they were found, the temperature in the RV was 111 degrees. The animals were taken to a county shelter where they were assessed and received any medical treatment needed.
Because of his history, Cutie Pie Clyde came to us under socialized. We were told that he lived most of his life in a cage and used for breeding (yes! someone actually thought it was a good idea to breed even MORE Chihuahuas in this world). Although Clyde has come a long way, he still has some progress to do in getting used to this very big world we live in. He is somewhat curious about the outdoors but really is more like an indoor cat at this point.
Clyde has hinted that his ideal home is a relatively quiet one where someone will help him come out of his shell. He will need someone who has the time and patience to let him discover the world at his own pace. If you would like to help Clyde find his way in the world, you will be richly rewarded with lots of kisses and love. And you will have the privilege of watching his personality come out as he comes to feel safe in his new home.
Clyde is neutered, up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. If you would like to meet him at a place and location convenient for you, fill out the adoption form and we can make it happen.
Take the time to meet him and you will see just how hard he is to resist!
