Charles Montgomery Burns is up for adoption! While he is nothing like the evil character on The Simpsons, he sure has the right nose to be called "Mr. Burns". This big-honkered, sweet, happy-go-lucky little dude is the highlight of his foster's day! On the car ride from the shelter, he was so happy on his freedom car ride that he kept closing his eyes, feeling the warmth of the sun on his face and was literally crying out with joy!! While most dogs take a little while to realize they are safe, this little 13 pound boy didn't waste a minute. He was licking the passenger's face and was thanking her the whole (2 hour) car ride home. He's a total love!
This big-eared guy is also great on and off a leash, is always happy, and is loving his new life! Mr. Burns just loves his people, is happiest cuddling, but always ready for a walk. The shelter staff guessed his age at 12 years but volunteers were surprised because he acts like a playful puppy! He's a joy to have around the house, looooves treats and would make a great addition to a home where he would be appreciated for his absolute cuteness!
The chaos of small children do frighten him so a home with respectful older kids or adults will be ideal.
